In 1932, Charles Kinsela, who leased the building from Fraser and Hughes hired the noted architect C Bruce C. Dellit to design alterations to the building and remodeled the place into a funeral parlour with two chapels, a spacious vestibule and ancillary offices. This photograph looks west into Chapel No 1 shortly after C Bruce Dellit’s modifications to the building were completed [Building, 12 April 1933, p.61]
