The Panch Mahal or The Wind Catcher Tower at Fatehpur Sikri, which dates to 1551. Located near the zenana, it is believed to have been constructed for relaxation. The building uses design elements from Buddhist temples and is entirely culumnar. Music performances and other entertainments were held there.

David and Sue  are just back from 4 weeks in India touring world heritage sites in Mumbai, Vasai, Delhi (Old and New), Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Jaipur and Udaipur. We are looking forward to continue the love affair and exploration of India's heritage.
