The proposed works, largely motivated by the need for essential maintenance, has provided an opportunity to reinvigorate this unique cornershop site. In the 1879 Sands Directory (for 1878), Gordon Mansfield is listed as living at Eturia; located at the end of the Glenmore Road block. This is likely the same Victorian-era double storey rendered brick and gable concrete-tile roofed, former dwelling, constructed c.1878 known as the corner store.
