This Aboriginal connection to country history was for an area in the north east of New South Wales within the Local government areas of Kyogle, Tenterfield and Tweed. Research was undertaken at the AIATSIS library, the State Library of New South Wales, the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, State Records NSW, Fisher Library at the University of Sydney and at Sydney University Archives. The aim was to establish continuous occupation and practice of traditional culture.
