This project involved the synthesis of a vast array of disparate material to identify significant places and the relationship of local people to them. They include timber getting and milling sites, and pastoral properties. Following from the research phase various narratives were prepared as a resource for interpretation. The narratives were all linked to a physical place, site or relic of cultural significance. The project outcomes included videoed oral history interviews, a hiistoric document collection and some 25 narratives to serve as the foundation for an interpretative program.
