Authors: Dr Sue Rosen, Christine Yeats & Liz Gorman
Client: Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
Sue Rosen Associates were commissioned by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists to assess the cultural significance of the Trainor Owen Archive of historic documents, pertaining to the College and the history of Radiology in Australia and New Zealand. After extensive investigation, we determined that the Trainor Owen Archive has national significance. It has a very high level of historic significance and its ongoing research value is considerable.
The collection documents the history of both radiology in Australia and New Zealand as well as that of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists during its 51 years of operation. It also documents the achievements of individual endeavours in the field of radiology over an extended period.
