The Former St Mary and St Mina Coptic Church, Railway Road, Sydenham Heritage Assessment
This Church was the first EgyptianCoptic Church in Australia and the first outside of Egypt. It was resumed by the Commonwealth when it became adversely affected by noise when the third runway was constructed at Sydney airport.

This heritage assessment was commissioned after the placement of an Interim Heritage Order to enable a re-evaluation of the cultural significance of the site, particularly it's social significance, in the aftermath of the decision by Marrickville Council to demolish the Church.
