Client: Aboriginal Heritage Division of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service
The project is part of the Aboriginal Women’s Heritage Program which aims to identify, record, conserve, protect and manage sites of significance to Aboriginal women in NSW. In doing this the program will also identify and record other issues relevant to Aboriginal women’s heritage, such as stories, rites, ceremonies, oral histories and contributions in traditional and contemporary society. The bibliographic database will be used to assist researchers meet the aims of this program with a particular focus on the Gamilaroi tribal area.
