This project involved the creation of a data base and archive of documents for the period 1788-1850 pertinent to the histories of the Aboriginal peoples of the Hunter region. The focus was on original documents and first hand accounts. It was designed for distribution to the communities and for individuals to add to the data base to create their own personal archive. Workshops were held to introduce the Archive to communities and ongoing support and tuition was available by phone.
